Regular Season Round 11: Pozuelo - Zentro Basket 70-84

Very expected game when 13th ranked Pozuelo (3-8) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Zentro Basket (6-4) 84-70 on Saturday. Zentro Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Pozuelo's 36. The best player for the winners was Belgian center Vincent Gielen (208-0, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. Juan Santana (-1) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds. Center Alejandro Cue (201-92) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and guard Borja Lopez (187-93) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. Five Pozuelo players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zentro Basket moved-up to sixth place in Group B. Loser Pozuelo dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
