Regular Season Round 6: Ragusa - Zadar 101-60

Undefeated leader Ragusa delivered the sixth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked KK Zadar (2-4) 101-60 in Dubrovnik. Ragusa dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to KK Zadar's 38. Ragusa forced 26 KK Zadar turnovers and outrebounded them 44-24 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by KK Zadar's players. It was a good game for center Lorena Molnar (194-98) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Center Ana Vojtulek (187-99) contributed with 22 points and 6 steals (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Ragusa players scored in double figures. Power forward Ana Vrsaljko (188-84) replied with 20 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Ivana Dujic (168-95) added 12 points in the effort for KK Zadar. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ragusa (6-0) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row, which they share with Tresnjevka. KK Zadar at the other side dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with Pozega and Zagreb. Ragusa will play against Plamen Pozega (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. KK Zadar will play against FSV Rijeka and hopes to get back on the winning track.
