Regular Season Round 27: Dorados - Lenadores 80-73

Rather expected game in Chihuahua where 5th ranked Lenadores (14-13) were defeated by third ranked Dorados (17-7) 80-73 on Saturday. Dorados shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Isaiah Wilkerson (191-90, college: NJIT) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Dominican point guard Juan-Miguel Suero (198-93) chipped in 11 points and 8 assists. Dorados' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-90) who recorded 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and Decensae Wite added 12 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Four Dorados and five Lenadores players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Dorados maintains third place with 17-7 record having five points less than leader Mineros. Loser Lenadores keep the fifth position with 13 games lost. Dorados will face Aaguacateros (#3) in Michoacan in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
