There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Valmontone (5-6) defeated at home 10th ranked Ruvo (5-6) 78-67 on Sunday. Valmontone made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Valmontone especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.3 percentage. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Luca Bisconti (208-82, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Giulio Casale (187-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Four Valmontone players scored in double figures. Valmontone's coach Alex Righetti allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Swingman Nicolo Bertocco (198-95) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Giovanni Laquintana (187-91) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests.
