Regular Season Round 11: MKS DG 2 - Wisla Krakow 68-106

We should not miss a road victory of leader Wisla Krakow (9-1) who rolled over second-ranked MKS DG 2 (8-2) by 38 points 106-68. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of MKS DG 2. It was a key game for the top position in Group C. Wisla Krakow shot 60.6 percent from the field. They also forced 19 MKS DG 2 turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. Wisla Krakow players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Rafal Zglobicki (196-94) who scored 18 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Michal Chrabota (193-99) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Dawid Boryka (188-97) produced 11 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Przemyslaw Paduch (202-3) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Wisla Krakow keeps a position of Group C leader, which they share with AZS AGH KR. MKS DG 2 at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. Wisla Krakow's next round opponent will be AZS AWF Mick. (#4) in Katowice. MKS DG 2 will play on the road against AZS PCz in Czestochowa and hope to win that game.
