Round in Liga Endesa means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Zaragoza where host Zaragoza (8-3) beat league's leader Real Madrid (9-2) 84-67 on Sunday evening. Zaragoza dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Real Madrid's 24 and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Zaragoza looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin power forward Nemanja Radovic (208-91, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Icelandic center Tryggvi Hlinason (215-97) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. American-Azerbaijani Jaycee Carroll (188-83) produced 14 points and Argentinian point guard Facundo Campazzo (181-91) added 6 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zaragoza maintains third place with 8-3 record behind leader FC Barcelona. Real Madrid will play next round against strong Burgos trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Zaragoza will try to continue on its current victory against sixteenth ranked Movil Estudiantes in Madrid.
