There was a minor upset when higher ranked Leon (3-6) was outplayed at home by twelfth ranked Estudiantes L. (3-6) 77-58 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Gabriel Gomez (195-95) who scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Alejandro Rivas (196-0) chipped in 15 points. Swedish forward Musa Jeng (202-99) produced 13 points and 8 rebounds and guard Alan Morchon (185-99) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Estudiantes L. moved-up to eighth place in Group A-B, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Leon. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
