It was a key game for the top position in the league. Mavericks looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Slovenian guard Luka Doncic (201-99) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists and guard Delon Wright (196-92, college: Utah) who added 17 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Mavericks players scored in double figures. At the losing side LeBron James (203-84) responded with 25 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and center Anthony Davis (208-93, college: Kentucky) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mavericks keep a position of league leader, which they share with Houston R. Lakers at the other side still keep top place with four games lost.
