No shocking result in a game when third ranked Fabriano (9-2) defeated on the road 10th ranked Faenza (4-7) 67-61 on Sunday. They outrebounded Faenza 50-37 including 36 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was naturalized Montenegrin forward Todor Radonjic (199-97, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Francesco Fratto (200-91) chipped in 9 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Edoardo Tiberti (205-97) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and guard Michele Rubbini (185-99) added 6 points and 9 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Faenza players scored in double figures. Fabriano moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Padova and Bernareggio. Loser Faenza dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. Fabriano will face Porto S.Elpidio (#16) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Faenza will play against Senigallia (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
