A very interesting game took place in Badalona. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 6th ranked Maristes Ademar (5-6) to fourth ranked SESE (8-3) 75-72 on Sunday evening. SESE made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for Oscar Martinez (-96) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Joaquim Galve (-93) accounted for 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Franc Garcia came up with 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and forward Marc Hermoso (193-99) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Maristes Ademar in the defeat. Maristes Ademar's coach Lluis Garcia-ubero tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for SESE. They moved-up to third place in Group C-A, which they share with Martinenc. Newly promoted Maristes Ademar dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
