Everything went according to plan when second ranked Slask 2 Wroclaw (9-1) defeated on the road 8th ranked Pleszew (4-6) 86-77 on Sunday. They outrebounded Pleszew 37-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. Kacper Gordon (186-2) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 5 assists. Igor Kozlowski (195-1) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Przemyslaw Galewski (199-91) answered with 17 points and point guard Szymon Rosik (178-99) added 15 points in the effort for Pleszew. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Slask 2 Wroclaw. They keep a position of Group D leader, which they share with Sudety. Loser Pleszew keeps the eighth place with six games lost. Slask 2 Wroclaw's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Wroclaw to the arena Gimbasket WRC.
