Regular Season Round 11: Basket RAV - Orzinuovi 81-74

Serie A2 top team - Basket RAV (8-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fourteenth ranked Orzinuovi (2-9) in Ravenna 81-74. The best player for the winners was American power forward Charles Thomas (203-86, college: Arkansas) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Giddy Potts (188-95, college: MTSU) chipped in 18 points. The former international point guard Stefano Bossi (185-94, agency: Players Group) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and Nigerian forward Christian Mekowulu (206-95, college: Texas A&M) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Basket RAV maintains first place in A2 with 8-3 record. Newly promoted Orzinuovi keeps the fourteenth position with nine games lost. Basket RAV's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Pompea MNV in Mirandola and it will be for sure the game of the week.
