It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Mashad. Chemidor dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Mashad's 22. Chemidor forced 19 Mashad turnovers. The winners were led by international Mohammad Jamshidi (199-91) who scored that evening 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Masoud Soleimani (207-90) supported him with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Even 30 points and 5 assists by American point guard Corin Henry (181-88, college: Tarleton St., agency: Agency) did not help to save the game for Mashad. The former international center Mehdi Esmaeili (207-84) added 8 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Chemidor moved-up to fifth place. Mashad at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Chemidor's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tehran to the arena Raad.
