Very expected game when 12th ranked Kerman (1-6) lost at home to third ranked Petrochimi (8-1) 83-76. Petrochimi dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Kerman's 34. They outrebounded Kerman 38-25 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Sajjad Mashayekhi (180-94) who scored 23 points and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field).
