No shocking result in a game in Los Angeles where second ranked Clippers (15-7) smashed 5th ranked Trail Blazers (8-13) 117-97 on Tuesday. Clippers looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Montrezl Harrell (203-94, college: Louisville) who scored 26 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Swingman Paul George (206-90, college: Fresno St.) chipped in 25 points. At the other side the best for losing team was center Hassan Whiteside (213-89, college: Marshall) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and guard CJ McCollum (193-91, college: Lehigh) added 20 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Clippers maintains second position with 15-7 record having just three point less than leader Toronto R. Loser Trail Blazers dropped to the third place with 13 games lost.
