Regular Season Round 6: H.Ramat Gan - Bnei Hertzeliya 81-86

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Bnei Hasharon (5-1) beat 9th ranked H.Ramat Gan (2-4) in Givataim 86-81 on Tuesday. Bnei Hasharon looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a good game for American point guard Kendall Anthony (173-93, college: Richmond) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 assists. Noam Avivi (202-99) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Nigerian-American forward TK Edogi (203-94, college: Iona) replied with 26 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Or Solomon (202-93) added 13 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for H.Ramat Gan. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. H.Ramat Gan's coach Hanan Hershkovich rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bnei Hasharon have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Yavne and Afula. Loser H.Ramat Gan dropped to the tenth place with four games lost. Bnei Hasharon will face league's leader Elitzur Yavne at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. H.Ramat Gan will play against Hasharon (#9) in Hod Hasharon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
