Regular Season Round 8: Regulators - Wolverines 69-71

Important game to mention about took place in Nassau. Fourth ranked Wolverines (3-3) saved a 2-point derby victory on the road edging one of their biggest challengers Regulators (3-3) 71-69 in the game for the third place. Wolverines shot 28 for 48 from the free-throw line, while Regulators only scored nine points from the stripe. Wolverines forced 25 Regulators turnovers. Strangely Regulators outrebounded Wolverines 64-45 including a 38-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Regulators were plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Henderson Curry who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds and forward Rashad Morley (198, college: Brock) who added 8 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Chico Francis responded with 4 points and 18 rebounds and Kenneth Pratt scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Regulators' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Wolverines moved-up to third place, which they share with Shockers and Regulators. Wolverines' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Nassau Shockers.
