Regular Season Round 12: Rapla - Parnu 86-68
Date: December 4, 2019
The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked Parnu's (5-9) road loss to seventh ranked Rapla (7-6) 68-86. Rapla players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by the former international forward Indrek Kajupank (200-88) who scored that evening 25 points and American guard Devaugntah Williams (193-94, college: Texas Tech) supported him with 20 points and 5 assists. Four Rapla players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 10 points, 7 rebounds and 15 assists by point guard Siim-Markus Post (183-97) did not help to save the game for Parnu. Latvian center Lauris Blaus (205-90) added 19 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rapla moved-up to sixth place. Parnu at the other side dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. Rapla's next round opponent will be league's second-placed VEF Riga on the road and it may be quite challenging game. Parnu will play against Valga-Valka (#15) and hope to win that game.
