There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (4-5) beat at home their close opponent Maccabi Haifa (4-5) 88-81 on Thursday. Hapoel Tel-Aviv made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Hapoel Tel-Aviv had a 32-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Maccabi Haifa's players.
