NBA top team - Nuggets (14-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Knicks (4-18) in New York City 129-92. They outrebounded Knicks 48-33 including a 39-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nuggets shot the lights out from three nailing 21 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 38 assists comparing to just 23 passes made by Knicks' players. The best player for the winners was forward Mason Plumlee (211-90, college: Duke) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Serbian center Nikola Jokic (209-95, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 6 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Nuggets players scored in double figures. Center Mitchell Robinson (215-98, college: WKU) produced 17 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian forward RJ Barrett-Jr (201-0, college: Duke) added 9 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nuggets maintains first position with 14-5 record. Knicks lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 18 games lost. Nuggets' next day opponent will be league's leader Celtics in Boston and it will be for sure the game of the week.
