Important game to mention about took place in San Antonio. Third ranked Spurs (9-14) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 4th placed Kings (8-13) 105-104 in the game for the third place. Spurs players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a good game for power forward LaMarcus Aldridge (211-85, college: Texas) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Swingman DeMar DeRozan (201-89, college: USC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Spurs' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Forward Harrison Barnes (203-92, college: UNC) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Richaun Holmes (206-93, college: Bowling Green) added 13 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Kings. Five Spurs and four Kings players scored in double figures. Spurs maintains third place with 9-14 record having five points less than leader Milwaukee B., which they share with Detroit P. and Portland TB. Kings lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 13 games lost.
