There was no surprise in Miami where 4th placed Wizards (7-14) were defeated by first ranked Heat (16-6) 112-103 on Friday. Heat outrebounded Wizards 50-39 including 39 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Heat made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was swingman Jimmy Butler (201-89, college: Marquette) who had a triple-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Bam Adebayo (208-97, college: Kentucky) chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Bradley Beal (196-93, college: Florida) who recorded 23 points and 8 assists and Latvian forward Davis Bertans (208-92) added 19 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Heat maintains first place with 16-6 record. Loser Wizards keep the fourth position with 14 games lost.
