Very important is a home loss of third ranked Hornets (9-15) against fourth ranked Nets (12-10) on Friday night. Host Hornets were defeated by Nets in a tough game in Charlotte 104-111. Nets forced 19 Hornets turnovers and outrebounded them 49-34 including 34 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 35 assists. Center DeAndre Jordan (211-88, college: Texas A&M) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side and guard Joe Harris (198-91, college: Virginia) accounted for 22 points and 5 assists. Point guard Devonte Graham (187-95, college: Kansas) came up with 29 points and 8 assists and point guard Terry Rozier (185-94, college: Louisville) added 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Hornets in the defeat. Five Nets and four Hornets players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Nets moved-up to second place, which they share with Utah Jazz. Hornets at the other side keep the third position with 15 games lost.
