An interesting game where JA Vichy (#7) beat host Lille Metropole (#6) 79-69 on Friday evening. David Denave (193-85) stepped up and scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (195-84, college: CSUN) chipped in 16 points. The best for the losing side was naturalized Burkinabe Jean-Victor Traore (203-85) with 15 points and 9 rebounds and center Thomas Hieu-Courtois (200-95) scored 14 points.
