SBL top team - Inter Bratislava (10-2) added another victory to their record on Friday. This time they beat sixth ranked Zilina (6-8) 77-73. Inter Bratislava looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of American forward Lee Skinner (198-92, college: Wofford) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds and the former international center Michal Batka (204-87) who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American guard Doug Wiggins (185-88, college: Mountain St.) responded with 19 points and 5 assists and his fellow American import center Tony Woods (211-90, college: Oregon) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Four Zilina players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 10-2 record. Zilina lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Handlova. Inter Bratislava are looking forward to face Nova Ves (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zilina will play against Handlova and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
