Regular Season Round 11: Bullets - Hawks 101-91

Date: December 7, 2019
Rather predictable result in Brisbane where seventh ranked Bullets (6-8) defeated bottom-ranked Illawarra Hawks (3-10) 101-91 on Saturday. Bullets made 22-of-22 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. It was a great evening for American swingman Lamar Patterson (196-91, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 assists. International center Matt Hodgson (211-91, college: St.Mary's, CA) helped adding 14 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Sunday Dech (196-94, college: Barry) responded with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center AJ Ogilvy (211-88, college: Vanderbilt) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds. Four Bullets and five Illawarra Hawks players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Bullets maintains seventh place with 6-8 record. Loser Illawarra Hawks stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Bullets will face league's second-placed Perth Wildcats on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Illawarra Hawks will play against United (#3) and hope to win that game.
