Premijer Liga top team - Cibona (10-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked KK Skrljevo (2-9) 114-55. Cibona dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to KK Skrljevo's 30 and made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Cibona forced 29 KK Skrljevo turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a quality performance for the former international swingman Marko Ramljak (201-93) who led the winners and scored 27 points and 6 rebounds. Slovenian point guard Matic Rebec (183-95, agency: PEPI SPORT) accounted for 18 points and 10 assists for the winning side. Four Cibona players scored in double figures. Forward Ante Gospic (203-90, college: Flagler) came up with 11 points and 4 assists and point guard Luka Panduric (193-93) added 11 points respectively for KK Skrljevo in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 10-1 record, which they share with Zadar. KK Skrljevo lost fifth consecutive game. KK Skrljevo at the other side keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Cibona will play against KK Vrijednosnice Osijek (#5) on the road in the next round. KK Skrljevo will play against the league's second-placed KK Zadar (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
