Regular Season Round 13: L'Hospitalet - Real Murcia 95-85

The game between third ranked Real Murcia (9-4) and fifth ranked L'Hospitalet (7-6) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Real Murcia was defeated by L'Hospitalet in Hospitalet 85-95. L'Hospitalet made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Real Murcia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese center Mouhamadou Diop (210-87) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Grant Lozoya (190-95, college: Pittsburg St., agency: Duran International) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. L'Hospitalet's coach Jose Manuel Hoya used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized Ukrainian center Volodymyr Orlov (208-95) answered with 21 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Nigerian forward Jeffrey Solarin (193-92, college: Idaho St.) added 17 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Real Murcia. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. L'Hospitalet maintains fifth place in Silver with 7-6 record. Real Murcia at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. L'Hospitalet are looking forward to face league's second-placed CB Prat on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Real Murcia will play against Pardinyes-L. and is hoping to win this game.
