Regular Season Round 13: Biofarm PZN - AZS PO 82-72

Not a big story in a game in Poznan where 14th ranked AZS PO (4-9) was defeated by twelfth ranked Biofarm PZN (4-9) 82-72 on Saturday. 25 personal fouls committed by AZS PO helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Marcin Flieger (185-84, agency: Promotex) stepped up and scored 24 points and 5 steals for the winners and Filip Struski (200-94) chipped in 8 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side Przemyslaw Szymanski (198-84, agency: Promotex) responded with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Tomasz Ochonko (183-86) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. AZS PO's coach Rafal Knap rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Biofarm PZN moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with defeated AZS PO. Biofarm PZN is looking forward to face higher ranked WKK Wroclaw (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. AZS PO will play against Ksiezak Lowicz (#3) having rather not much hope for a victory.
