Not a big story in a game in Poznan where 11th ranked Biofarm II (1-9) was rolled over by fifth ranked Trefl II Sopot (7-3) 84-49 on Saturday. Trefl II Sopot dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Biofarm II's 32. Trefl II Sopot forced 23 Biofarm II turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Biofarm II's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Trefl II Sopot made 10 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Oskar Zyczkowski (208-1) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 rebounds and center Mateusz Kowalski (208-0) who added 9 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Szymon Sobiech (195-2) with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Jaroslaw Gizynski (196-99) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. Biofarm II's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Trefl II Sopot have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in Group A, which they share with Politechnika Gd. Biofarm II lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with nine games lost. Trefl II Sopot will face league's leader Arka II in Gdynia in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Biofarm II will play on the road against AZS UMK Torun (#8) and hope to win that game.
