Regular Season Round 30: Lenadores - Huracanes 129-122

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Lenadores (16-13) defeated at home one of their biggest challengers Huracanes (15-13) 129-122 on Saturday. Lenadores had a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Huracanes were plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Leroy Davis (200-81, college: Georgia St.) who scored 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists. Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-90) chipped in 29 points, 8 assists and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was James Alvarez who recorded 28 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) added 31 points (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!) respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Lenadores moved-up to fourth place. Huracanes lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with 13 games lost. Lenadores will have a break next round. Huracanes will play against Correcaminos (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
