Regular Season Round 9: MuKi - HNMKY 96-90

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Helsinki: MuKi (#2) and HNMKY (#5). MuKi (6-2) won against visiting HNMKY (5-4) 96-90. MuKi made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. Guard Nikolas Gustavson (193-1) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 50 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds for the winners and center Alexander Aglassinger (195-1) chipped in 11 points and 10 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The best for the losing side was forward Atte Vuoristo (192) with 21 points and 9 rebounds and forward Iiro Tuomi (199-2) scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. HNMKY's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. MuKi maintains second place with 6-2 record having just two points less than leader OBA. HNMKY at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. They share it with Pyrinto and Kataja. MuKi are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Westside (#10) in Espoo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. HNMKY will have a break next round.
