Regular Season Round 9: Mgzavrebi - Dinamo Tbilisi 111-70

The game between second ranked Dinamo Tbilisi (5-3) and eleventh ranked Mgzavrebi (2-6) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Dinamo Tbilisi was crushed by Mgzavrebi in Tbilisi 111-70. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dinamo Tbilisi. Cabbil is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Mgzavrebi players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was international point guard Luka Bulashvili (192-98) with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Tyler Williams (196-96, college: San Diego) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mgzavrebi maintains eleventh place with 2-6 record. Dinamo Tbilisi at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with Olimpi. Mgzavrebi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena Olimpi.
