The game in Lublin was also quite interesting. 4th placed Sleza Wroclaw (5-4) played at the court of fifth ranked AZS UMCS (6-3). AZS UMCS managed to secure a 5-point victory 61-56 on Saturday. American center Briana Day (193-95, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Serbian point guard Jovana Popovic (173-90) accounted for 18 points. American Cierra Burdick (188-93, college: Tennessee, agency: LBM Management) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian Nevena Jovanovic (182-90) added 18 points respectively for Sleza Wroclaw in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for AZS UMCS. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Gorzow Wlkp. Loser Sleza Wroclaw dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
