Second Stage Round 1: Prinemanye - RCOP Tsmoki 76-70

There was no surprise in Grodno where RCOP Tsmoki (1-9) was defeated by Prinemanye (3-7) 76-70 on Saturday. Prinemanye made 28-of-37 free shots (75.7 percent) during the game, while RCOP Tsmoki only scored five points from the stripe. Prinemanye forced 25 RCOP Tsmoki turnovers. Forward Sergey Lemeshevskiy (193-1) stepped up and scored 32 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners and power forward Egor Kranin (199-1) chipped in 6 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side point guard Timofey Karpuk (185-2) responded with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and power forward Kirill Vaskovtsov (200-3) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Prinemanye will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. RCOP Tsmoki will play against GOCOR-Sozh (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
