Regular Season Round 11: Yamanashi QB - Toyota B SR 64-68

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Yamanashi QB (2-6) was defeated at home by second ranked Toyota B SR (9-1) 68-64 on Sunday. Toyota B SR made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game, while Yamanashi QB only scored four points from the stripe. It was a great evening for swingman Nanako Todo (175-0) who led her team to a victory scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Saito Asami (173-96) helped adding 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Aimi Wakahara (171-96) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and forward Misa Yokoi (170-88) scored 6 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Toyota B SR. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with JX-Eneos S. Yamanashi QB lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth place with six games lost. Toyota B SR will meet Aishin Wings (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Yamanashi QB will play against Fujitsu RW and hope to secure a win.
