Rather predictable result when tenth ranked A.Costa IM (6-6) defeated on the road 14th ranked Orzinuovi (2-10) 79-72 on Sunday. A.Costa IM made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Anthony Morse (206-94, college: Tenn Tech, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and forward Stefano Masciadri (200-89) who added 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five A.Costa IM players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Stefano Bossi (185-94, agency: Players Group) with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and American guard Tarin Smith (190-95, college: UConn) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. A.Costa IM maintains tenth position in A2 with 6-6 record. Newly promoted Orzinuovi keeps the fourteenth place with ten games lost. A.Costa IM will face league's second-placed Unieuro Forli at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Orzinuovi will play against GSA Udine (#7) and hope to win that game.
