Very predictable result in Treviglio where eighth ranked Blu Basket TVG (6-5) defeated 13th ranked Eurobasket RO (3-9) 75-71 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Blu Basket TVG made 21-of-22 free shots (95.5 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward A.J. Pacher (208-92, college: Wright St.) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Lorenzo Caroti (185-97, agency: Players Group) who added 17 points and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) during the contest. Four Blu Basket TVG players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Steve Taylor-Jr (206-93, college: Toledo) with 18 points and 8 rebounds and forward Giovanni Fattori (203-85, agency: Interperformances) scored 18 points. Blu Basket TVG moved-up to seventh place in A2. Loser Eurobasket RO keeps the thirteenth position with nine games lost. Blu Basket TVG will face Bergamo Bsk (#12) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Eurobasket RO will play against SS Napoli and hope to win that game.
