Regular Season Round 12: 2B Control TR - Zeus NPC Rieti 77-66

There was a minor upset in Trapani where higher ranked Zeus NPC Rieti (6-6) was defeated by tenth ranked 2B Control TR (6-6) 77-66 on Sunday. 2B Control TR made 28-of-33 free shots (84.8 percent) during the game. Zeus NPC Rieti was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American LaMarshall Corbett (189-88, college: Angelo St.) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and guard Gabriele Spizzichini (195-92) who added 19 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Elijah Brown (193-95, college: Oregon) with 25 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Jalen Cannon (198-93, college: St.Francis, NY) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. 2B Control TR moved-up to eighth place in A2. 2B Control TR will face higher ranked Basket TO (#3) in Torino in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Zeus NPC Rieti will play at home against Novipiu Casale (#4) and hope to win that game.
