We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 11th ranked Senigallia (5-7) was edged on the road by twelfth ranked Faenza (5-7) 75-73 on Sunday. Faenza outrebounded Senigallia 42-26 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for center Edoardo Tiberti (205-97) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. Power forward Giorgio Sgobba (200-92, agency: Players Group) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Faenza players scored in double figures. Guard Giacomo Gurini (192-84) replied with 26 points and 7 rebounds and Simone Pozzetti (203-90) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Senigallia. Faenza moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with Vicenza and Juvi Cremona. Faenza will face higher ranked Piacentina (#3) in Piacenza in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
