Regular Season Round 20: Saga B. - Shizuoka 97-86

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Saga B. (11-9) defeated at home 9th ranked Shizuoka (8-10) 97-86. Saga B. players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Shizuoka's players. American Trey Gilder (206-85, college: Northwestern St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists. The other American import power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: Inception Sports) contributed with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Roschon Prince (198-94, college: Detroit Mercy) replied with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds (on 14-of-16 shooting from the field) and Beninese forward Muusa Dama (206-95, college: EIU, agency: Blacktop Management) added 21 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Shizuoka. Four Shizuoka players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Saga B. maintains sixth position with 11-9 record. Shizuoka lost fifth consecutive game. Shizuoka at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth place with ten games lost. Saga B. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Shizuoka will play at home against Tokyo CR (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
