Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Corato (6-5) defeated at home 11th ranked Valmontone (5-7) 75-66 on Sunday. Corato forced 19 Valmontone turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Valmontone's players. It was a good game for point guard Mauro Stella (190-84, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 8 assists. Montenegrin Lazar Kekovic (205-99) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners.
