The best player for the winners was American swingman James Young (198-95, college: Kentucky) who scored 20 points. Venezuelan point guard Gregory Vargas (180-86, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. American guard TJ Williams (190-94, college: Northeastern) produced 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import forward DaSean Butler (201-88, college: WVU, agency: Inception Sports) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Beer Sheva players scored in double figures. Beer Sheva's coach Rami Hadar rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Maccabi Haifa moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Galil Gilboa and H.Tel-Aviv. Beer Sheva lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with six games lost. Maccabi Haifa will face league's second-placed Hapoel Jerusalem on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
