Another interesting game for Sydney Uni Flames (4-7) which hosted one of their biggest challengers Adelaide Lightning (4-6). Seventh ranked Sydney Uni Flames had an easy win 81-69. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Colleen Planeta (188-88, college: PLNU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds and the former international swingman Alice Kunek (187-91) who added 21 points and 4 assists during the contest. The former international guard Steph Talbot (188-94) responded with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Brianna Turner (190-96, college: Notre Dame) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Four Adelaide Lightning players scored in double figures. Adelaide Lightning's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sydney Uni Flames moved-up to fifth place. Adelaide Lightning at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Sydney Uni Flames will play against bottom-ranked Townsville Fire (#8) on the road in the next round. Adelaide Lightning will play against Bendigo Spirit (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
