Regular Season Round 48: Phoenix Suns - Minnesota T. 125-109

Everything could happen in Phoenix at the game between two tied teams. Both third ranked Suns and one of their biggest challengers Timberwolves had identical 10-12 record. This time Suns used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Minnesota 125-109 on Monday night. Suns looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Timberwolves' players. The best player for the winners was Devin Booker (198-96, college: Kentucky) who scored 26 points and 7 assists. Spanish guard Ricky Rubio (193-90) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 assists. Four Suns players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Dominican-American power forward Karl-Anthony Towns (213-95, college: Kentucky) who recorded a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and Canadian guard Andrew Wiggins (203-95, college: Kansas) added 23 points and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Suns (11-12) moved-up to second place, which they share with Orlando M. and OKC Thunder. Timberwolves lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 13 games lost.
