Second Stage Round 1: Tsmoki II - Borisfen 52-101

Date: December 9, 2019
The game in Minsk supposed to be also quite interesting. COR-Borisfen (9-1) played at the court of Tsmoki II (4-7). COR-Borisfen smashed Tsmoki II 101-52 on Monday. The game without a history. COR-Borisfen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. COR-Borisfen forced 33 Tsmoki II turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American guard Brian Starr (190-96, college: Towson) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 25 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists and 14 steals (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winners and his fellow American import center Taylor Adway (205-96, college: Ferris St.) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Starr is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side forward Arseni Tugarinov (198-2) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds and guard David Odiah (196-0) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. COR-Borisfen will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tsmoki II will play against Rubon (#3) in Vitebsk and hope to secure a win.
