The game in was also quite interesting. 7th ranked M.Haifa (2-4) played at the court of eighth ranked Raanana (2-4). Raanana did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 79-60 on Monday. Raanana looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a good game for guard Meighan Simmons (175-92, college: Tennessee) who led her team to a victory with 30 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Forward Kristen Simon (188-95, college: USC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Center Khaalia Hillsman (197-96, college: Texas A&M) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Alex Harden (180-93, college: Wichita St., agency: Ron Sport) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for M.Haifa. Raanana moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated M.Haifa. Raanana will face league's leader Maccabi Ramat Gan in Ramat Hen in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
