Regular Season Round 7: Kiryat Motzkin - Ramat Hash. 76-86

Hasharon has finally registered their first victory this season after six consecutive losses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Kiryat Motzkin (3-4) on the road game in Kiryat Motzkin 86-76. Strangely Kiryat Motzkin outrebounded Hasharon 42-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Dorian Pinson (196-96, college: Lincoln Memorial) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Tyrell Nelson (201-95, college: Gardner-Webb) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Four Hasharon players scored in double figures. American power forward Amin Stevens (203-90, college: FAMU, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds and American-British center Laurence Ekperigin (200-88, college: LeMoyne) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Kiryat Motzkin. Newly promoted Hasharon maintains fourteenth place with 1-6 record. Kiryat Motzkin at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Hasharon's next round opponent will be higher ranked H.Galilee (#11) in Kazrin and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
