There was no surprise in Hangzhou where 20th ranked Bayi Rockets (1-14) were defeated by ninth ranked Golden Bulls (8-6) 120-103 on Tuesday. Golden Bulls made 32-of-35 free shots (91.4 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Bayi Rockets' players. The best player for the winners was American guard Marcus Denmon (191-90, college: Missouri, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international center Dayu Zhang (212-91) chipped in 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). The former international forward Haowen Guo (201-0) produced 22 points and forward Liu Hang (203-93) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Golden Bulls moved-up to eighth place. Bayi Rockets lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost.
