Regular Season Round 49: Miami Heat - Atlanta H. 135-121

NBA top team - Heat (18-6) managed to deliver another win on Tuesday. This time they beat fifth ranked Hawks (6-18) in Miami 135-121. Heat dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Hawks' 50. They outrebounded Hawks 53-37 including a 44-33 advantage in defensive rebounds. Heat looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists. Bam Adebayo (208-97, college: Kentucky) nailed a triple-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists for the winning side and swingman Jimmy Butler (201-89, college: Marquette) accounted for 20 points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists. Guard DeAndre Hunter (201-97, college: Virginia) came up with 28 points and guard Trae Young (188-98, college: Oklahoma) added 21 points and 9 assists respectively for Hawks in the defeat. Four Heat and five Hawks players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Heat have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 18-6 record. Hawks at the other side keep the fifth position with 18 games lost. They share it with N.Orleans P.. Heat will have a break next day, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Hawks will play against Bulls (#4) in Chicago and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
